Does Audacity work with midi cables? (I believe that's what they are called)
I have an m-audio Uno - 1-In/1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface.
I would like to record straight from this cable if possible because my home can be noisy.
Any input would be appreciated

Re: Midi Cables
MIDI is not audio. Audacity is an audio recorder and editor, it does not record or edit MIDI.

Re: Midi Cables
To be 100% accurate, 1.3 Beta can import a MIDI or GRO file, cut-and-paste edit it, then export it, but there is no MIDI playback yet, nor can you convert between MIDI and audio.steve wrote:MIDI is not audio. Audacity is an audio recorder and editor, it does not record or edit MIDI.
