Tracks don't synchronise since I installed Sibelius

I use Audacity 1.3.13beta for multi track voice recording. Since I installed Sibelius the tracks don't synchronise - it was fine before that. I don't have Sibelius running while using Audacity but it seems to interfere anyway??

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "don't synchronise".
Are there any other changes to your set up other than installing Sibelius?

I mean I sing one track, record the next track, using a click track to keep to time and then when I play back they aren't in time with each other. No, no other changes to my set up. I had this before with my previous version of Sibelius but if I turned it off before using Audacity it didn't interfere. The new version seems to interfere even when Sibelius is turned off.

I'm not sure why having Sibelius installed (and not running) should make any difference unless it has some processes running in the background. You could look in the Task manager to see what is running.
When you record, there is always a short delay between the sound going into the sound card and the sound being written digitally to the hard drive. This is the "recording latency". If not corrected, the second track will be a bit out of time with the first track, so Audacity 1.3.x uses "latency correction" to drag the new track in time with the first. In order to do this accurately you need to set up (calibrate) the latency correction. Instructions for how to do that are here:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Latency_Test You may need to adapt the instructions a bit to suit the recording hardware that you are using.
