As far as I'm aware there are not (yet) any guitar distortion effects specifically for Audacity, but there are a number of options that you could look at:
Edgar's "Broadcast Limiter" effect can be used as a kind of "Fuzz Box" effect
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyqui ... Limiter_II
The "Leveller" (Effect menu > Leveller) will produce distortion when used at "heavy" levels - you can also apply it more than once if you want even more distortion.
Adding a bit of reverb (for example "GVerb") in addition to distortion can help produce a better over-driven guitar effect (Guitar amps frequently have some sort of reverb built in).
You could have a look on the
KVR website for any free VST distortion plug-ins. Audacity 1.3.13 supports quite a lot (but not all) VST plug-ins.
See here for how to install plug-ins:
http://audacityteam.org/download/plugins
and see here for specific instructions for VST plug-ins in Audacity 1.3.x
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/VST_P ... a_versions
(note that the "VST Bridge" is for Audacity 1.2.x only - don't use it with Audacity 1.3.x)
