Can't record guitar through amp

I've been using Audacity for quite a while now and havnt had many problems

I just bought a new laptop (Toshiba Satelite C665) and when I plug an Auxiliary chord from the headphone jack of my amp to the mic jack of my laptop and play, it just has a really loud fuzzy frequency.

It's not a problem that noise removal can fix, it's just a really distorted crunching sound (in a bad way)

Turning my mic sensitivity up or down doesnt do anything.

I've tried 2 different amp and the same problem persists

On many laptops the "Mic" input is specifically designed for "microphones". The signal level of a typical microphone is extremely small - around 1000x lower than a headphone output. It sounds like this is the case with your Toshiba Satelite C665 and the mic input is being heavily overloaded.
You may be able to get acceptable results if you turn the headphone volume down really low, but probably what you really need is an external sound card that has a Line level input (such as the Cakewalk UA-1G or Behringer UCA 202).
