export MP3 to MIDI (SOLVED)
I can't seem to convert an mp3 file to midi. The "export midi" option is grayed out. I am using a simple one instrument mp3 file. Can someone give me some guidance?

Audacity cannot convert audio to MIDI.
Audacity is able to Import and display MIDI and has limited ability to edit MIDI tracks but cannot yet play MIDI. The Export MIDI option is only for MIDI tracks.
It is planned to extend Audacity's MIDI support in the future.
