Wahwah isn't working

Hello! I'm having trouble with using wahwah on the 1.3 version (it didn't happen with the 1.2.6 version I used to have and which I've already deleted :-() Every time I try to use wahwah on any track, Audacity forces me to close it. I'm a Windows 7 Professional user. Thank you very much!

Do you mean that Audacity crashes when you use Wahwah? How long are the tracks you are applying it to? If you have "Audio Cache" turned on in the Directories Preferences, try turning it off as It stores almost all edits in RAM (memory) which could cause crashes.

I moved this to the correct 1.3 board.

Hello, Gale! I'm trying to apply wahwah to tracks between 5-10 seconds and around 2 minutes long. I've already turned off the Audio Cache on the Directory Preferences... but Audacity keeps crashing :( . By the way, wahwah is the only effect i've had any trouble with.

Look at Help > About Audacity and see if you have the latest 1.3.13 (the "13" is important). If not, please download 1.3.13 here:

How many tracks are you applying Wahwah to? Try it on one or two tracks at a time to begin with. If it still crashes in 1.3.13, what value is each of the Wahwah sliders at when you have a crash? If you like you could attach a screenshot of the settings (use "Upload attachment" underneath the message posting buttons).
