Best procedure for updating to new version?

Best procedure for updating to new version?

Going from 1.3.9 to 1.3.13, what's my best procedure?

Do I install to the same folder as the old version? Do I uninstall the old version first? I assumed I could find this procedure on the Audacity site or the Forum, but haven't been able to.

If the old version was installed into the default location, just install the new version over the top.
