How to "Apply Chain to Files" for Raw Audio?

I'm trying to modify a bunch of .wav files that are encoded with some ridiculous proprietary codec, so Audacity only recognizes them if I import them as raw data...

I've built a chain that performs all the modifications that I need done, once I've imported the raw data, but I'd like to be able to apply the chain to all the files at once, but I get the same "error importing" message I would get if I tried to import them manually...

Is there a way to force Audacity to import raw data as part of a Chain?

Thanks!

Chains do not support RAW import.
Raw import is not a good candidate for Chain support as it relies on user input to set the correct import parameters.

Probably the best solution would be to use an alternative program to batch convert the files to a normal PCM WAV format, then you will be able to use the Audacity Chain on the converted files.
