Hey!
The other day i tried to mix in audacity for the first time! I tried to record my guitar and after recording one part, when i press the record button to record another part over the previous one, the previous part also gets recorded along with the new one and it ends up being to noisy or whatever. I disabled the overdub setting, which worked, but i really need to hear the previous track when i record a new one over it! So help me out guys! Please!
Thanks!
Mixing in Audacity.

Re: Mixing in Audacity.
"Overdub" should be enabled (selected).
"Software Playthrough" should be disabled (not selected).
Then you need to set your sound card to record from "Line In" (or whichever input you are using) and not "Stereo Mix".
