Gradual rather than instant drop in pitch?

I know how to edit the entire pitch of a note. But is there any way to drop the pitch gradually? Like a dive bomb?

I'm not looking for any crazy cheesey natural harmonic dive bombs like in that video, I just want to record a note on the lowest string on the guitar and drop it gradually (as if I had a whammy bar... Which, alas, I do not). The pitch doesn't have to come back up.

The effect you need is called "Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift..."

Instructions for using it are here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Effe ... itch_Shift...
