How do I recover saved mixes that were lost in a crash?

So i just spent 3-4 hours working on a 15 minute mix. I imported my own sounds/samples from my MPC 1000 and the songs all came from music i owned. To make a long story short I was about to post the mixed tracks about 8 tracks put into one on the internet for review than my audacity crashed. Right before it crashed I was hitting export and I had the mix highlighted. I clicked recover program and I opened it up and it only my first 60 seconds of a 15 minute and 30 second mix and I cant find the remaining ones. I have the resources to do this again but to be honest id rather recover it and move on with my life. can anyone help?

You posted in the Audacity 1.3 forum. Are you using Audacity 1.3?

Yes im using audacity 1.3 and windows vista. I clicked some links on the other page to see but than i realized they were for audacity 1.2... but yeah im using 1.3 beta

I expect that you will end up starting again on this occasion, but if you could give the exact chain of events (in as much detail as you can recall) then we may be able to help you avoid losing data in the future.
