High pitch sound
When recording with Win 7, and using an external mic plugged into pc I am getting a high pitch in the voice. How can I edit it out. And how can I set it up to not record this way.

Re: High pitch sound
Live recording should always be done on headphones. Is that how you're doing it?

Not quite sure what you mean about using head phones, I used a ear mounted mic.
Re: High pitch sound
Could you upload a short sample recording to the Internet and post a link so that we can hear what you mean.

Re: High pitch sound
He thinks you might be getting feedback, which is a squeal that happens when the sound feeds-back from the speakers into the mic. You get an out-of-control feedback loop that causes a loud high-piched noise. I'm sure you've heard that from a PA system when the gain/volume is too high, or when someone moves the mic too close to the loudspeaker. With headphones instead of speakers, that doesn't happen. Not quite sure what you mean about using head phones, I used a ear mounted mic.
