Audacity Forum

I am really confused. I have exported many songs into iTunes before and they all have worked. However, one of my songs is giving me problems. It will export and I can open it and add it to my itunes library, but when the track plays, there's a loud "exploding" or "popping" sound that comes out of the speakers and the rest of the track is silent. The track works perfectly fine in audacity though, and i can play it and it sounds great. Does anybody know what this means?

What format are you exporting the file as?
What is the "Project Rate" (bottom left corner of the main Audacity window) set at?
