Audacity Forum

Hi all,

I just downloaded Audacity and it's my first time using it so forgive my lack of knowledge. I am using Vista and I uploaded a song that I intended to cut. Then I noticed that almost all of the operations and tools (eg., cut, delete) are not activated so I can't use them. How can I make them work so I finally cut my song? Thanks for your time!

Click the "Stop" button.
Most functions are unavailable while in Play, Record or Pause.
