I have MSI A6200 laptop with recently installed Windows 7 and Audacity 1.3.13-beta. In the Preference Device 'Recording Device', I see only Microsoft Mapper and Microphone when Interface is MME; Recording Device - Primary Around Capture Driver and Microphone when Interface is Direct-Sound. In my laptop Control Panel, Device Manager, Sound Controller, I have (i) Intel Display Audio, and Realtek High Defination Audio.
I want Record music and talk show debate from Internet Website such as CNN news or from Music/Radio music from Web Site. I used to do this in my previous Windows and Audacity set up. The Audacity help suggested to us Recording from other tap etc. I thought I should set in the manner. However, I can not find I/O selector in Device Recording.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

The more advanced the operating system, the more they hide this process.
