Hey,

I desperately need help!
I have some wav files of a conversation I recorded with a standard mp3 player. there's a lot of noise! my main problem is traffic noises like bus engines.
I tried following tips about noise removal, but since I'm not really good with this stuff and it's really loud noises I didn't really find my way around it... I just lost most of the talking sounds.
I know loud noises are problematic to get rid off, but I could really use some guidance in trying to make this any better.
PLZ HELP!

You may have no show.

Noise Removal will not get rid of traffic sounds since they change constantly over the course of the performance. Those are now performers in your show.

Noise Removal and the other tools only work when the voice is very much louder than the interference. They won't do forensics, making trash into voices.

Field sound is a lot harder than it looks. This is a shot of Steven Raichlen doing his outdoor TV show. That big, pinkish sausage thing on the right is the microphone, just out of camera range.

Select about five seconds of severe interference, mix it down to mono with the Tracks tool and export it as FLAC. Post it here so we can listen to it.
