Recording songs back to back

I apologize if this sounds awkward; I'm a newbie and have ADD. I want to record a number of songs, one after the other, for a Halloween soundtrack but I can't figure out how to do this. This audio haunted house would be several one-hour tracks with sound effects and so on. How do you record back-to-back as you would on tape? Thanks very much.
