recording problem

recording problem

i have a problem everytime i record an idk how to fix it. when ever i record when i press stop it moves all my lyrics like a second b4 they were recorded. so when i play it my lyrics r always off beat by a second or so. does anybody know how i can fix this problem?

Go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Recording"
What do you have set for the "Audio Buffer" and "Latency Correction"?

idk. i have the audacity sample download. so when i click on prefrences it dont show any of that.

I've no idea what version you have, but you should be using Audacity 1.3.13 which is available from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/
