Searched aduacity free plugins, listed voxengo tube amp. windows 7, new laptop. downloaded, when try to open file it goes to adobe reader, says not a supported file type or wasnt decoded. can you help me? thanks

What is the actual file name?
Which version of Audacity are you using? (should be 1.3.13 - see in "Help > About Audacity" to check).
