Recording sound through Maya 44 USB driver to Audiocity 1.3

Post by nkichi » Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:39 am

I am having trouble recording a set via a DJ mixer through a Maya 44 USB driver to Audiocity.

Currently I have the audio signal coming from my mixer through to my Maya 44 USB driver and then into my computers USB port. I am using the AudioCity 1.3.13 to try to record the set.

When I press record it starts recordings but the bar does not move past 0.0 (time) and therefore does not record anything.

My recording device is set to "Line In (AudioDevice on USB Bus) and channel is set to ""2 (stereo). My qualiy through my computer is set to 44100 Hz and 16-bit. I have also gone through the tutorial to make sure my recording device is set to defualt and all my drivers are updated.

I am currently running Windows 7 (64 bit).

Is the "AudioDevice on USB Bus" the correct input driver???

I really could use some help here. Been stuck trying to fix this problem for over two weeks now :(

Thanks,

N

This could be the crucial part. What other options do you have?
Note that the options may change depending on what you have selected as the "Host".
