I am using windows 7 and ive got audacity 1.3 13 :ugeek:

Right-click over the speaker icon in the "System Tray > Recording Devices".
This should bring up a window something like this:

Click on the "Recording" tab
Right-click anywhere inside the Recording tab and choose "Show disabled devices" then right-click again and check "Show Disconnected Devices"

What recording inputs are now showing?
Are any of them grayed out?
(A screenshot would help if you can do that)
