I would like to be able to record my self talking and also the sound from lets say a youtube video.
I have managed to record just youtube sound or just me but not both at the same time. i would be so thankful for a resolve

Will your Windows allow you to select more than one sound device? If it does, (I think the earlier Windows would let you do that) then the Stereo Mix option should give you sound from everything you have selected.
If not, then I don't think you can do this with the stock Windows software.
You can record the YouTube work and then use the Audacity Overdubbing feature to put your voice on top of it. All post production. Audacity doesn't do any tricks in real time.
