No bass just highs.

I have windows 7 and i am able to record through stereo mix (realtek high def) but doesnt record the lows... the highs sound good but cannot find a solution to get a balaced track.

any help much appreciated, thanks

Like mp3's off a streaming website... i was able to on my desktop computer but not on laptop? ALSO I HAVE THE 1.3.13-beta (Unicode)

on the toolbar on top : MME , Speakers realtek high, stereo mix realtek high , 2(stereo)imput

What other options are available?
What options are available when you select "Direct Sound" rather than MME?

OK so heres the options... Windows direct sound, Primary sound driver or speakers(realtek high), primary sound capture or stereo mix & microphone, and then 1 or 2 imputs...

has to be something simple im missing right?

I will be watching this thread. Yesterday I decided to grab some stream off youtube. What happens for me is the bass drops out and comes back intermitently every few seconds. This was going from a desktop to a laptop. Today, i reversed it. Played from Laptop and recorded on desktop. Same thing.

Also plugged Internet into laptop and streamed and captured simultaneously on laptop. Same thing. I actually thought for a bit that it might be some kind of deterent to keep from capturing stream audio. SHRUG

Wish I still had a cassette deck or my DAT to give a try.
