Exported MP3 or WAV completely silent

I've just downloaded Audacity 1.3 Beta on Windows 7 and have recorded my first test tracks on a Blue Yeti USB mic. The playback in Audacity is working just fine.
When I export my track to MP3 or WAV, the resulting file is completely silent. I tried importing it back into Audacity, and it played back fine. Based on the response to another question, I went into Control Panel and set my speakers to my computer speakers rather than my microphone. The export options are just on default settings, which are Constant Bit Rate Mode, Quality 128 kbps, Joint Stereo. I've also tried setting it to Stereo instead of Joint. The audio track is set to Mono (it's just a voiceover), 44100 Hz, 32-bit float (I've also tried 16-bit PCM). There is no clipping in the track. Software Playthrough is turned off, and mute is turned off.
Any advice? Thanks!
