Editing instu. and vocal backing tracks at same time
I am new to this. Can I put an instrumental backing track up AND the backing track with the lead vocals at the same time so that as I edit the one with the vocals it makes the same edits on the instrumental backing track?
Re: Editing instu. and vocal backing tracks at same time
When you make a selection on one track, you can use the up/down cursor keys to move focus to other tracks. Pressing the Return (Enter) key will toggle whether or not the track with focus is selected or not. When you apply an edit or an effect it will be applied to all tracks or parts of tracks that are selected.

Re: Editing instu. and vocal backing tracks at same time
Ok. So if I've got the track with vocals and instrumentals on top and the track with just the instrumentals on bottom, I want to copy a section in both of them simultaneously and then paste that copied section at another part of the tracks simultaneously. So far I can hilight both tracks but it will only copy one and paste and not both. Does this make sense?
Re: Editing instu. and vocal backing tracks at same time
Once I get both instrumental track and practice track with vocals edited, how do I export them as separate tracks? I want to make a cd of the new instrumental track with the edits and the new practice track that has the lead vocals, separately....
Re: Editing instu. and vocal backing tracks at same time
at that point you click on one of the tracks where you want to paste, then use the up or down cursor key to the other track and press "Enter" (you will see that the control panel on the left end of both tracks are now highlighted) Now paste.momma5x wrote:Ok.
