Hello,
I have a Toshiba C660 notebook with Win7, after using a Toshiba Tecra WinXP for a while. On the Toshiba Tecra, Audacity showed a full range of input sources(aux, line in, CD audio, etc) and it was possible to record online files. But in the C660, Audacity shows only a stunted ranged of input sources; it will record via microphone, but not online files.
How do I bring this list of input sources up to the number previously available? I gather that updating drivers is one way, but clicking on 'update driver software' receives the answer that the drivers are up to date. Realtex is the driver manfacturer, but I was unable to find anything on their site (not really knowing what to look for).
I would really appreciate a tip on how to get these input sources back.
Thanks,
Ron

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Have a look here for how to enable the available devices: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... trol_Panel
