Hi
I am somewhat confused now. I have been editing some mp3s. I import them, edit , and then export them as a mp3(same parameters just with some material removed) again. For the first hundred or so the metadata followed with the save. That is I edited and did not have to reenter the meta data, it was there in the box as the original file had it. Now i have but some files which the metadata can be viewed in explorer when I get to the export save box it is clear. I thought it might be a permission problem so I gave all full permission but no joy. This is a windows 7 64 box and audacity is latest beta uni-code(1.3.13). I have also reinstalled audacity to see if that would help. What is the fix for this? If there is not one is there a tag program which will save the metadata in a file and reapply it in a batch mode to all files. Re entering the meta data manually for a few thousand files would not be fun. The data on most files is the album name, contributing artist, and the title.
