i have windows internet explorer and i cant find the plugins folder for audacity maybe somebody could give me the url so i can go right to it but i cant put anythng in it because i cant find it. i dont want the url to the sourceforge plugin download site i want the plug in to go directly into the folder and paste the plugin in there.

A URL is only for an address on a web site, not for a path in a computer file system. To install new plug-ins, place them in the "Plug-Ins" folder inside the Audacity installation folder. On Windows computers, the Audacity installation folder is usually under "Program Files". If you did not change the folder you installed Audacity Beta into, it's usually C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode) on 32-bit Windows.

It's C:Program Files (x86)Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode) on 64-bit Windows.

Please restart Audacity after adding the new plug-ins.

Hi there. I am having a similar problem. I have Windows 7 and installed Audacity. I can't find how to install the plugins though. Can anyone help? Thanks.
