Changed project name - am I screwed?

I'm new to Audacity. Recorded a bit, and then wanted the song to be called it's real name and not "Lame attempt". So I changed the project's name... BIG MISTAKE!! Now it can't find the files. I even changed it back to "Lame attempt" and the folder is called "Lame attempt_data", Should work. But it doesn't.
What can I do except bang my head into something hard?

Banging your head is unlikely to help with the current crisis, but may help to avoid the problem in the future

Attach the "Lame attempt.aup" file to your reply - don't change anything, don't delete anything and don't move anything. I'll have a look at the file and see if I can see the problem. (all may be lost so don't get your hopes too high, but we'll have a look and you may be lucky).

I always go for "trial and error" in new things I do, but sometimes the "error" part in that philosophy is quite emotionally painful.
Here it is. Was I suppose to attach the _data-folder as well?
I'd be forever thankful if anything can be saved.

Make a copy of both the .AUP file and the _data folder.
Ensure that the file and folder are in the same directory.
Rename the file as: The only one I know.aup
Rename the folder as: The only one I know_data
Cross your fingers and try opening the renamed project with Audacity.
