Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

I exported recording as .WAV file and next I can't import this file. The program doesn't see any .WAV file. What is wrong?

Nowhere near enough information for us to help you!

What file name did you save as? Was there any metadata?

In which directory did you save? What OS; what exact version of Audacity (menu Help > About Audacity...)?

Are you using menu File > Import > Audio... or menu File > Open...?

Have you used the OS's Search function to try to locate the missing file?

Does the file name or artist name contain any characters other than a-z, A-Z, 0-9? Are you using any non-English characters?

2 308 276 bytes

Yes, Also in Preferences I tested to check in "Filters chosen in OpenFile ..." next I checked out "Filters ..." and inserted rule WAV. I also tried .WAV, *.WAV and no success

Does the file name or artist name contain any characters other than a-z, A-Z, 0-9? Are you using any non-English characters?

no non-English characters

I think most important remark is that I don't see any .WAV any .MP3 file. It's a pity.
