Just a small programmer heads up. Very useful tool the spectrum is, but cannot get it out of the way to re-equalize a project and then bring it up to replot.
Thanks!

Re: 1.3XBeta - Plot Spectrum - Minimize Button Non Functiona
You can't minimise it because it's been designed as a "modeless" window that stays on top as part of the main project window. We can add your vote that it should be a separate window (you would then have to task switch between it and the main window, and whenever you clicked in the main window, Plot Spectrum would disappear); or you could vote to be able to resize Plot Spectrum below the current minimum.
My solution is to drag the Plot Spectrum window behind the (bottom-positioned) Taskbar so that only the graph is showing, then use the keyboard shortcuts to operate it (for example, R to replot). Having said that, if Plot Spectrum is already open, Equalization will come on top of the Plot Spectrum window (but still allowing you to click on either of those two windows to bring them on top), so that shouldn't be much of a problem?

I just wish it could be moved about or delegated as it could be in 1.2X That's the audacity I was used to.

It can be moved with the mouse. But obviously you want it as a separate window as it was in 1.2.6, which has pros and cons. Of course there were complaints about how it was in 1.2.6, which is why we changed it.TheKMan wrote:I just wish it could be moved about or delegated as it could be in 1.2X That's the audacity I was used to.

You're kidding... People actually like putting on and taking off their shoes while leaving the laces tied? or changing the oil in their car with the hood closed? 'Cause that's what the behavior of the spectrum window reminds me of. LOL!
sigh..... guess I'm just weird. I am however thrilled with the additional gridlines over the spectrum and the Equalizer tool for amplitude & frequency. No longer do I have to use a ruler to locate the exact freq of that midrange peak I'm ironing out with the EQs.
