I'm uploading to tune core and it says
"Before you upload, please make sure that your files are 16 bit (sample size), 44.1 kHz (sample rate) and 1411 kbps (bit rate) wav files."
I save the .Wav files from audacity as "wav (microsoft) signed 16bit PCM.
They end up with 1536 kbps.
I tried looking under edit>preferences>file formats, but here's no "file formats" option under preferences.
It has "import/export" but it doesn't have the options I need under that tab.
How do I change/set the kbps for a wav file.

Re: How do I change/set the kbps for a wav file.
That's because your sample rate is set at 48 kHz.ContrivanCe wrote:They end up with 1536 kbps.
In the bottom left corner of Audacity there is a "Project Rate" box. Select 44100 in that box immediately before exporting the WAV file.
If these are recordings that you are making yourself, go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Quality" and set the default sample rate to 44100, then future recording projects will automatically be at the right sample rate.
