Yes, that's 2 minutes, 35 seconds.
Devices Manager shows native Conexant drivers and "upgrade" didn't produce anything new, neither did Conexant's website. However, I searched for something specific for my Lenovo brand and WIn XP and found a device driver package which I installed - and it solved my problem ... HOORAY.
