Among other things, I use Audacity for some track editting, and I need to end up with a single mono track. How do I convert stereo tracks to mono in Audacity?

Select the stereo track and from the Tracks menu select "Stereo track to mono".
Include as much details as you can in your post (Audacity version, Operating System, Equipment used, etc).
Please post your question in the appropriate forum (regarding audacity version and operating system).
