Audacity Forum

Hi all i'm brand new to Audacity,so my problem may be a small one.
Ok here goes,i'm learning the acoustic guitar so i'm playing into an
ALBA mic from ARGOS but the trouble is AUDACITY is showing its recording
but when i try and play it back its so faint i cant hear it.

Is it a USB mic or a conventional mic?
Could you post the Argos catalogue number.
Are you using Windows XP?
You've posted in the Audacity 1.3.x part of the forum, but that looks like Audacity 1.2.6. I would highly recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.13 http://audacityteam.org/download/
