Audacity screen goes all purple

Post by rainbowchaser » Sat Jun 04, 2011 10:02 pm

I love Audacity and it has worked perfectly on XP and was working with the beta version. Now, however, all of a sudden as I try to record an LP, the whole screen goes purple and it can't record anything. I have not changed a thing. Help please.

Are you still working on XP?
How much free disk space do you have?
How much RAM do you have?
What sort of computer is this?

I am on a Velocity Micro PC. I have Win 7, 9 Gig of RAM, very high end machine. It was working fine and all of a sudden, it won't. I am not sure if the somehow the input got changed but I tried all kinds of combinations and nothing works.

I don't quite understand.
You were using Audacity 1.3.something beta on Windows XP and it was working OK, but now all of a sudden the screen goes purple and you can't record anything on Windows 7 and you haven't changed anything?
