Where did my audacity files go?

Where did my audacity files go?

It says all the files have been removed from recent files, and when I click the project form the desktop it opens a folder called e00 and then it just takes me to a bunch of other crap. I can't find them anywhere on the pc...

I don't really understand your question. If you read this ( http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Audacity_Projects ) it may answer your question, or at least enable you to put your question more precisely.
