Hi audacity, there is a click sound effect in my audio (song)
Fortunatly no audio is hiding underneath the clicking sound, so if i manually go find and cut all the clicks out, my song will be sounding GREAT!
but.. by the time i would be finished it would be the year 2020 at least, because its full of this annoying click "sound effect" (all instances sound the same)
How do i select the distinguishable soundwave, and then have it select all other waves that look identical (ok maybe there is a few pixels difference) and then delete them all at once?
Thanks,
Not a wizard (really thats why im asking you magicians!)
EDIT: I really messed up with the grammar... fixed a part.
EDIT2: There are 2 different click sounds, one of them is heard 24 times, the other 12 times.

Have you tried "Click Removal" http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Click_Removal

Yes, i've captured the sound effect and then selected only that sound effect and it removes it.steve wrote:Have you tried "Click Removal" http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Click_Removal
But, as soon as i select the entire soundtrack, it removes only pieces i wanted to keep, and ive tried the sliders too!
I've included a screenshot of the soundwave this time!

It's a bit difficult to see precisely without seeing the time scale, but they look like a lot more than "clicks". What are they? What is that noise and where has it come from?

They are some kind of sound effect that sounds like clicking.. or maybe like a bottle of champagne popping open. the first spike is the pop and the second is some smaller pop.
i just want audacity to recognize this exact spike and remove all instances of it through the audio track.

Could you post a short sample of what you are talking about (there's an "upload attachments" feature below the "compose message" box when you reply).
To make a suitable sample, select just 3 or 4 seconds that includes some typical pops, then from the File menu select "Export Selected" and export as a WAV file.
