I can't find "Undo Recording"

I just started using Audacity a few hours ago and know I'm going to like it. But how do I delete my test recordings. In the manual I read, "Click on Edit>Undo Recording to remove the test recording." I found the Undo button but not the one I want. Where is it hidden?

It will be in the Edit menu--almost certainly the first item but it will show as:
Undo Record
in more recent versions of Audacity. I just updated the tutorial so it reads properly--thanks!

I still can't find any button to undo a test recording or any recording I don't want to keep. The "Undo" button doesn't do this job. It would be neat to delete something fast with one click. If there is such a means perhaps someone could tell me.
This is an edit a few minutes later. After recording song I now see the "Undo Record" button. Perhaps it comes and goes determined by who knows what.

The Undo menu item will only undo the very last operation you performed; so, if you record then make some edit to the recording the undo will be for the most recent edit. Undo does spool backwards so in that case you would need to Undo twice to get rid of the record. There is a handy Undo History feature found in the
View menu (although many think it really belongs in the
Edit menu):

It allows you to undo multiple actions at once (but it will not allow you to keep intermediate steps).

1) You can delete/remove a whole trrac by clicking in the
X at the top left of its Track Control Panel (the panel at the left of the track's waveform display)
2) You can delete the whole recording and retain the empty track by selecting the wole track (Click in its track control panel - avoiding the buttons and sliders) and then presss
Delete or
Ctrl+X
3) You can delete part of a track by selecting the part you don't want - and then presss
Delete or
Ctrl+X
