The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Internal Recording issue.

Post by MasochistMuffin » Sat Apr 23, 2011 11:46 pm

So after screwing with the settings and reading countless tutorials I had Audacity finally working and recording internally, then It just suddenly stopped working again. -_-

can some one tell me how to fix this annoying problem permanently.

Working off of a Toshiba Laptop with Windows 7, if that helps.

Current settings.

Most people tend to blob the recording process into one event whereas it's really two. You can go through a complete recording session and create a correct exported sound file in complete silence. Monitoring/listening is a separate event. As long as you have the Red recording meters bouncing and and a wiggly blue timeline, you are making a recording.
