recording with zoom R16

Hi
I am trying to make recordings with a Zoom R16 interface onto Audacity.All the settings seem to be set to the Zoom but Audacity will not let me record asking me to check sampling rate and input settings both which I have done.I can hear the input through the zoom so it is connected and Audacity will record with the setting on Realteck.Any advice please/Anyone else using the Zoom as a sound card?Oh by the way the Zoom is acting well as an output for Audacity.
