Hello,
Big fan, have been using 1.2 in windows XP for years and love it. Yesterday I upgraded my PC to a Dell I580
I had my uncle the PC gooroo check out my drivers - seem to be 64 bit. I updated them all last night.
Everything I record from my Pioneer DJM 800 is distorted. I have tried every combination of level decrease and it always comes out like the gain is on full.
I am using a Tascam UB-100 interface from my mixer to my PC.
I am freaking out and need help.

From the System Tray (bottom right corner of the desktop), open "Recording Devices"
You should see something similar to this:
There should be a USB device listed.
Right click on the USB device icon and select "Properties".
Somewhere in there is a volume control. Turn it down really low, then make a test recording.

Hi There,
I've had a similar problem to this. Have been using v1.2 for a couple of years now on XP Laptop. This has recently been upgraded to Windows 7.
Since installing 1.3 and trying to record my vinyl the distortion has been incredible. The Waveform totally max'd out.
I seem to have got around this by reducing the 'recording input slider' in the top panel down to virtually zero. This has reduced the waveform significantly and removed the distortion. The recordings seem to sound as good as others recorded on v1.2.
Have a go and see if this helps!
Have to say though, not particularly impressed with 1.3, seems to have given me more problems than I had before.
If anybody has any better solutions or reasons as to why this happening would love to know as I feel I'm just working around it at the moment.
Also, any plans to fix on the full release?

Unfortunately I think you're blaming the wrong guy. The problems started when you moved from XP to Windows 7?

I know what you mean, unfortunately it's a work PC so have no choice!
Was very happy with things as they were!
Any constructive advice gratefully received!
