Changing speed and recording!

Post by paddy69 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 10:02 am

Hi!
New here and first post!
Can anyone help me?? I have been given a CD with audio tracks that have been recorded too fast. I have ripped to my hard drive into mp3 and then can open them in Audacity and use the tool to slow it down so I can listen. BUT how do I save the slowed down track so I can stick it on a USB stick and listen in the car???
Thanks!
Phil

Slow the track down using the "Effect > Change Speed" effect.
Export the slowed down track as a WAV file.
Use your favourite CD burning software to burn the new WAV file to CD.
