Audacity Forum

In a particular project,of 3:30min Audacity has disabled the option to export as mp3. In other projects is has worked perfectly. What happened? How to have my project exported/saved as mp3??????

Which exact version of Audacity? (look in "Help menu > About Audacity")
What operating system?
Which exact version of Lame? (look in "Edit menu > Preferences > Libraries")
How many tracks in the project?
Mono or stereo tracks?
Did you import the tracks or record them?
What location are you trying to export them to?
What file name are you giving them?
What MP3 settings do you have? ("Options" button in the Export dialogue screen)
Are there any error messages?
Any other useful information?
