My Windows XP desktop computer has a Creative sound card and Audacity installed.
When I select Sound Recording I can select “What you hear” and what ever is playing through the speakers can be recorded with Audacity.
I have noticed many Laptop computers do not have sound recording settings for “What you hear” or “Stereo Mix” and this can not be done.
The latest Laptops have either Vista or Windows 7 installed.
Is there any Virtual Sound Card that will work with Audacity and Windows operating systems so the sound from the speakers can be recorded to Audacity?
I would appreciate any advise.
