Okay, I am somewhat of a producer. I like to download drumkits and use them in audacity. However, I've noticed this annoying ringing problem. Evertime I play something with bass, it produces this annoying ringing tone. The tone is loud too, It almost completley sounds out the sample i'm playing. But It's only on audacity. I've played the sample on Windows Media Player, and it sounds just fine. However On Audacity, I get this annoying ringing tone. This tone only occurs when there is bass (For example the sample im playing is a bass drum). How do I fix this?

If you import a bass drum sample into a new (empty) project and play it, do you get the effect?
