Hello forum people,
since a few weeks Audacity 1.3 (beta) seems not willing to work as before...
Before everything was fine, then for no reason that I know of all effects were gone from the menu.
Also its impossible to generate frequencies anymore. My menu effects simply doesnt show this options anymore.
Only repeat last effect and the 6 standards (fade in, fade out, normalize, leveller,...) are left there.
I de- and installed Audiacity twice already (once with the old files from a year ago, that were working perfectly,
and once with new downloaded files) and then I ve tried all kind of combinations:
- copied the LADSPA effects into the Audacity/plug-ins folder, clicked search for effects and restarted,
- copied the LADSPA and other VSTs (not instruments) in programs/vst-plugins, clicked search for effects and restarted, and so on...
Everytime Audacity seems to find the effects (scans them for a few seconds before starting the program), but doesnt overtake them into the menu.
I have no idea, why the effects and the generate function dissappeared from my menu, since I havent changed any related software or else.
By the way, its Windows 7, and it was as i said working for about half a year in the same configuration.
Does anyone know this problem or can give me advice???
Greetings,
Jan
