Hi,
I just bought a Samson Go Mic which connects via USB. I have never had trouble recording with either a line-in or array microphone. However, Audacity is failing to record any sounds with this microphone. Strangely, Audacity acknowledges that sounds is being made (the red bar moves when sound is made, and the blue waves are recorded), but plays no sound when I try to play it back. I have tried playing it back with both headphones and my computer speakers.
I am using Windows 7, so I do not have the option of switching back to Audacity 1.2.x.
If it matters, I'm on a Dell Inspiron Laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Harry

Re: Samson Go Mic (USB) not working in Audacity 1.3
Try this test:
Record something with the USB microphone.
If the waveform is very small, use the Amplify effect on it.
Does it play?
If not, unplug the microphone
Does it play now?
