I would like to edit wma files with Audacity.
I did a Google search abut this and got the impression (perhaps mistakenly) that I could do this with Audacity 1.3.X (Beta).
So I uninstalled 1.2.X and downloaded 1.3.
I am still having problems. I tried Import and it didn’t work.
I got an error message about changing Preferences but I didn’t understand it.
If it is possible to edit wma files with 1.3, can someone tell me the procedure or refer me to a link (tutorial preferably) that will explain this procedure?
wma files?

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: wma files?
You need to add the FFmpeg library before you can import WMA. Please see http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 75#p132275 and post back in this topic if you have problems,
