_data file dissappeared! Really urgent!!

Hi i need to hand up a project in 2 days, and
basically, after completing some work on an audacity project, i saved the file and closed the window.
when i tried to re-open the project, an alert '--- BASS COMBINED ---_data' file is missing.
And it really is missing!!

I have no idea why the file is gone, but i'm hoping that there is some way to retrieve the file.
My laptop ran out of juice halfway, and i plugged it in and restored it, so could that be a cause?
The audacity project was still running fine after i restored my com.
And i saved it both before and after the restore.

I tried to find '--- BASS COMBINED ---_data' using the windows search tool, but no folder appeared.
any other options?
if not then i'll have to re-do everything. o_o

'--- BASS COMBINED ---_data' file is missing.

"'--- BASS COMBINED ---_data" is not a file. it is (or was) a folder.
Unless you can find and recover it there is no show. The _data folder contains the audio data. The .AUP file contains the instructions that tell Audacity how to piece the data back together to make the audio project.
